The Casbah w/ Telekinesis - San Diego, CA

Anyone going to the show in San Diego, at the Casbah? This will be my first time going there and I can't wait to see Kate and Damon. I guess they'll be playing 2 shows that day because they're also playing for free at UCSD that afternoon. If I could I'd go to both!

By the way, does anyone know anything about The Casbah? For some reason there's no link to buy tickets on the website even though you can for other shows. I wonder if it'll be ok to get them at the door.

i've been to a couple of shows at the casbah, and it's a strictly 21+ venue, which was crazy, because when i worked with a band as their roadie/merch person, we played the casbah and i wasn't allowed in the venue, even though i was with the band. i was made to sit on the stage next to the band entrance right next to a bouncer. hehe. it's a very very small venue, so look for an intimate show. also, it's next to the san diego airport, pretty much under the 5, it's kinda hard to get to/find for people who first go.

ooooooooh damn. so are they playing the casbah and ucsd??? or just casbah. I'm at school and it only lets me on certain websites. I don't want to make the drive down there tomorrow and find out there's no show i'm 4 months away from 21!!!

i don't understand whats happening it said "May 19 - University Centers Presents: An Horse. Price Center Plaza. Noon - 1 PM. This show is free and open to students and guests." sooo confused?!?!? i mean it is def possible that they are playing two shows that same day they have enough time but the question is are they?

i would go. i mean, it doesn't hurt. not like you have to pay to go to the show
