Picture on Kate's guitar

Anyone know what exactly that is on her guitar?

I'm pretty sure it's the actor, Owen Wilson.

the stripe is part of the guitar, it's a fender mustang. i'm not exactly sure who the guy is though. don't recognize him

ahaah, i wasnt sure why she had that one picture on it either, but then when i saw them live i saw that she has a whole bunch on the back of the guitar, ahah, so, its just a sticker

i've noticed a lot of musicians like to put stickers on their buitars and cases. i just can't do it. it would make me sad to ruin such a pretty finish of a guitar

it's a picture of Owen Wilson in character Eli Cash in The Royal Tenenbaums. She just digs him AND the character.

Interestingly enough she also seems to be a fan of the movie Zoolander in which he stars. One of their blog entries is titled with a Zoolander quote: "Sorry, Maury. I'm not a gymnast."

Can anyone tell what year her guitar is? It's pretty spiff. I have one but not the striped model, it's cherry red.

it's a competition mustang and looks to be a short scale at 22 1/2". it looke like those were discontinued in 1972 and the re-issue competition mustangs only come in i believe 24" now, so i'm guessing early 70's

Wow, that's really funny. Zoolander's an awesome movie, and the Royal Tenenbaums is definitely one of my all time favorites. Btw hermitstyle, my electric is heavily stickered enough for the both of us .
