Re: Tilly and the Wall
I know right? I wanna get someone who knows to tap dance just because of that! I love Jamie Pressnall
Re: Tilly and the Wall
You did
And I accepted your friend request (this is where the thread starts to get off topic and we wonder why the thread was called Tilly and the Wall if we are talking about all the pets we have had in the past)

Re: Tilly and the Wall
Umm, thats really hard, but I guess I have to say Rainbows in the dark, though Nights of the Living Dead is a close second because its like the theme song of me and my friends, with bad Education being an even closer third. and Tall Tall Grass being a close 4th. Haha, I am so indecisive, 3/4 are Neely songs, or, I am pretty sure Bad Education is a Neely song, I could be totally wrong.
How aboot you, what do you say is your Tilly favorite?

Re: Tilly and the Wall
Rainbows In The Dark is my favourite too closely followed by Pot Kettle Black but I have a soft spot for Coughing Colours and I also really like Fell Down The Stairs.
Re: Tilly and the Wall
Rainbows in the Dark has my favorite lyric of all time "sometimes you just cant hold back the river."
Re: Tilly and the Wall
I love that line too but my favourite Tilly lyric is "and love, just like blood will always stain."
Re: Tilly and the Wall
That one is one of my favorites. What I love about Tilly, is that they don't have a whole whole lot of diversity when it comes to sound alone, though the tap dancing, and some songs have some uniqueness, on the surface, they are a band you could just write off as an indie pop band, but once you remove that top layer, the deeper you go the more talent you find, lyrically, they all are superb, and they all no how to make songs that can spark a wide array of emotions every single time you hear them.
Re: Tilly and the Wall
Wow, that's exactly how I feel about them. I try to introduce their music to friends and they dismiss them saying that they sound the same as any other indie pop band. But once you look further into their music they are original and magnificent. I think I just re-worded what you just said but yeah I feel the same.
Re: Tilly and the Wall
Oh, I re-word things all the time, but I try to use bigger words to make myself seem smart
