haha. no i don't have one. but i was watching cats 101 on animal planet and there is this lady who takes persian cat hair from the groomings and weaves them into purses and such.

Well I was mainly refering to the fact that we had several family members over for Easter dinner and they were all loud and talking and wanted to talk to me about how much I apparently love university, and then they'd want to hug me...

I hate family too. I haven't seen my extended family since October though, and that makes me really happy!

We're not really close to our family and don't see them that often.

I was never really that close to my cousins either becuase of the age difference... Which is still a factor now.. Like. I don't really know anything about them and they're all like 25+ and I'm just 18... So at any gatherings my sister and I usually just sit there...

It's awkward.

I empathise.

My family think I am totally anti-social due to the fact that I typically refuse to join them on their outings to the pub, and grumble about extended family gatherings.

That is not the case though, I know I'm going to be miserable and bored at these things... I really don't see the appeal in forcing conversation with poeple I have sooo little in common with..

As well as that, all they ever seem to talk about is people they knew who have died recently. WTF? Crying or Very sad

Anyways, in my experience, family members over the age of 4 really tend to suck...

It seems I'm in a minority here, but I get on well with all of my family; I'll be a bit quiet at gatherings but I only see most of them once or twice a year.

yeah, i don't get along with my family either. so much so, that the only people in my family that i will talk to is my sister, my mom and one of my aunts. long story, but basically my entire family disowned my mom, my sister and i. great family i have Very Happy

cuz i actually make other ppl feel awkward cuz they never know what to say "oh hows um your friend" "oh you mean my girlfriend she is awesome! we are just huge lesbians together" *walks away* or "you should be kinder to your mom" "your right the rent my mom charged me to sleep on her couch when i had no money cuz my boss fired me for the disorder i can't seem to control was just not enough i should have payed her three hundred dollars of the imaginary money i didn't have but whatever homelessness here i come i'll just stay out of her life and all of my friends houses cuz no one wants me that way she can pretend that her daughter is straight successful and caucasian."
