Iron On!

It seems only appropriate that we should discuss Kate's old band Iron On on the An Horse forum. Does anyone else listen to these guys? My love of An Horse inspired me to buy their cd Oh The Romance and The Verse ep off of Itunes.

iron on is also good, i only know a couple of songs, i'm planning on buying their record from itunes one of these days.

I love love love Iron On, 'Oh the Romance' is fabulous - it's one of my most-played albums. I'd definitely reccomend them to anyone

Out of curiosity, how popular were these guys in Australia? Did any of their songs/ video ever get airplay or did you find them through An Horse. I'm not really familiar with the Australian music scene.

To be honest i don't think they were that popular over here.
I think one or two of there music videos got on music showa a couple of times in the morning and they got a couple of plays on the radio but from memory they were at around like 5am or something. So i am guessing they weren't heard very much.
Although I think they got a few fans from when they toured with Tegan and Sara in 2006.

I only have a few of their songs but what I have I do love. Whenever I get some money a flowin I'm going to buy their cds on itunes.

I'm sad that I can't seem to find their older stuff anywhere. I bought both cds on Itunes, but I know they had released stuff before Oh the Romance.
