Hey everyone...I'm usually very bad at introductions but lets see here
my name is Joanne
I go to school in Monterey, California
I grew up around San Francisco
I love music, some might say I'm an addict
I'm currently learning how to produce music/ learning how the recording process works
I love riding my bike everywhere
um I guess that's it...I love meeting people even though I might be shy at first!
oh yes and of course I think An Horse is AMAZING!

i LOVE logic. i have both pro tools and logic, but i'm more of a fan of logic than pro tools, just because it comes with so much better plug-ins than pro tools does. the only downfall of logic is that if you don't have a fast processor speed on your computer, it will stop playing your project, especially with how many plug-ins you have running, etc. but i love it. i've heard pro tools 8 is supposed to be modeled more after logic, but i don't feel like spending the $200+ to upgrade from 7 to 8 right now to check out the differences. maybe if i can find a torrent for it, i'll grab it.

don't think there will ever be a generic version. it's like $500+ for it, takes up like 40gb of your computer and takes 6 hours to download Sad

hey, at least it's not as expensive as pro tools hd. that alone will set you back at a minimum of $10,000. pro tools le isn't that expensive, but the interface you need for it can get pretty expensive.
